Heritage Grain Forum: celebrating grainshed advances in the West

Join us at the University of Arizona ENR2 Haury Auditorium  for events that will verge on “magical cerealism”!  We are celebrating the recent designation of the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area, with a retrospective of its role–and that of many others–in bringing back heritage grains to the multi-cultural communities of southern Arizona & northern Sonora. We will also be learning from leaders in other regions who have pioneered comparable innovations & grain revivals. Where do we go from here?

Wednesday Sept 4: 8:30-12:00 noon, talks + roundtables by Vanessa Bechtol, Joy Hought, Don Guerra, Jeff Zimmerman, Ramona & Terry Button, Gary Nabhan & others, with commentaries by Quinn & Carlisle + more tastings
